Ms Christine Batenga is currently an Accountant at MEFMI. She is a member of the MEFMI ICT Committee.

A holder of a B. Com degree from Makerere University of Kampala, Ms Batenga is also an ACCA Fellow.  She also holds an   MBA from the East and South  African Institute of Management (ESAMI ).  She has postgraduate diplomas in Project Planning and Management and in Public Administration and Management from Uganda Management Institute.  

Ms Batenga has over 10 years’ experience in Auditing, Accounting and Financial Management. Prior to joining MEFMI, she  worked as an Internal Auditor for Mukono Local Government and Finance and Administration Officer for Uganda Women’s Finance Trust. While working with Mukono Local Government, she was a member of the District tender Board and also a Government trainer of trainers.  She worked extensively with the Uganda Ministry of Local Government to monitor the utilisation of Local Government Development Project Funds (LDP).
