RumbidzayiRumbidzayi Gadhula joined MEFMI in February 2015 as Information Technology Officer. She has over 10 years’ experience as an ICT professional. Her experience includes ICT project management, operations management, strategy and policy development, information management and support of user requirements in the financial, academic and NGO sectors.

She is very keen on using ICTs for business outcomes and is interested in ICT research, the application of ICT4D tools and ICT capacity building. She has worked as a volunteer for the Africa Network Operators’ Group (AFNOG Chix), and a committee member for the Internet Society (ISOC) Zimbabwe Chapter.

Prior to joining MEFMI, Ms Gadhula worked for the UZCHS-NECTAR programme where she managed ICT infrastructural deployment projects, and oversaw the transition of ICT projects into operations and played a central role in the development of e-learning strategy and ICT policy.

Rumbidzayi holds an MSc in Information Systems Management and a BSc Hons in Computer Science from Midlands State University. In addition she is a certified Prince2 Practitioner and ITIL Expert in Service Management, among other ICT certifications. She is currently studying for an MBA with the Edinburgh Business School at Herriot-Watt University
