Ms Vivian Namugambe joined MEFMI in April 2015 as Programme Officer – External Sector and Natural Resources Management in the Macroeconomic Management Programme.

Prior to joining MEFMI, Ms Namugambe worked with the Bank of Uganda in the External Sector Statistics Division of the Statistics Department. She was the Bank’s representative to the East African Community technical committee on harmonization of External Sector Statistics. Ms Namugambe has facilitated several in-country missions within the region, on the migration of their Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Statistics from the fifth edition (BPM5) to the sixth edition compilation framework (BPM6).

Ms Namugambe holds a Bsc Quantitative Economics and an MA in Economic Policy and Planning, from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda.
