Ms Josephine Tito joined MEFMI in March 2017 as Programme Manager –Public Debt Institutional Development & CS-DRMS in the Debt Management Programme.

Prior to joining MEFMI, Ms Tito worked in the Zimbabwe Public Debt Management Office where she was in charge of maintenance of an updated and comprehensive public debt database. She is highly knowledgeable in the user functionalities of UNCTAD’s DMFAS system. In addition, she has extensive knowledge in developing legal frameworks for debt management operations having been part of the team which drafted Zimbabwe’s Public Debt Management Act. Furthermore, she possesses great skills in the use of the World Bank Debt Management Performance Assessment (DeMPA) tool.

Ms. Tito also possesses macroeconomic analysis skills having worked in the Ministry of Economic Development’s Economic Affairs Department for eight (8) years where she focused on economic analysis particularly on real sector developments. She was also a member of the Macroeconomic Working Group.

Ms Tito holds a BSc Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a Masters in Public Administration from the National University of Singapore-Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
