Mr. Casius Chuma
Programme Manager Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
Mr. Casius Chuma is the Programme Manager responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. He is a seasoned monitoring and evaluation expert with over 18 years in the field. His experience covers strategic and operational planning, project management, monitoring and evaluation. Having previously worked with regional economic bodies such as SADC and COMESA, he also has significant experience in regional integration.
Mr. Chuma holds an MBA in Management Strategy from the University of Zambia, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation from Stellenbosch University (RSA, a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from University of the Free State (RSA) and a B.Sc. Degree in Natural Resources from the University of Zambia. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (UK), a Post Graduate Certificate in Managing for Impact in Development from the University of the Free State (RSA), Certificates in Quantitative Trade Policy Analysis, International Trade Law & Development, and International Trade & Development from the Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA/Lund University-Sweden).
Among other qualifications, Mr. Chuma also received specialised training in monitoring and evaluation of international development programmes from the University of Bologna (Italy). Mr Chuma is a member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation (SAMEA) and the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA).
