is a regionally owned institute currently with 13 member countries:Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

MEFMI

  • At least 18,750 officials have participated in over 1,150 open, in-house and E-learning programs.
  • Over 20 years of acclaimed success in the provision of training and technical assistance in sovereign debt, macroeconomic, financial sector and human resources management.
  • Closely collaborates with financial market regulators and international organisations such as IMF, World Bank, African Development Bank, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Bank for International Settlements, Commonwealth Secretariat.
  • Delivers its products and services through courses, workshops and seminars for junior to top executive professionals; country diagnostic and technical assistance missions; retreats for heads of relevant departments; special policy related studies and development of manuals and management / analytical tools
  • Strong and proven track record of being effective in addressing specific capacity building needs through  tailor-made  interventions  that  have  resulted in development and implementation of customised capacity tools and frameworks
