Ms. Cecilia Kerubo Ombongi is the current MEFMI Finance Officer.
Ms. Ombongi holds an MBA (Strategic Management) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (Accounting) from Mount Kenya University, Bachelor of Science (Hons) Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University-United Kingdom. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Studies from CIE-United Kingdom. She is currently studying for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Professional qualification.
Prior to joining MEFMI, Ms. Cecilia worked as a Senior Accountant for a multi donor funded NGO in Kenya. She has also worked as an Accountant in the Private Sector for pharmaceuticals and manufacturing companies in Kenya.
Cecilia is a member of the following MEFMI Committees: Investments Committee, Assets Disposal Committee, Review of Policies and Manuals Committee, ICT Disaster Recovery Test Committee.
