65th MEFMI Executive Committee Meeting Held in Eswatini

MEFMI convened its 65th Executive Committee (EXCOM) Meeting on 28 August 2026 at the CBE Complex in Ezulwini, Eswatini, bringing together Central Bank Governors and senior representatives from MEFMI member countries.

The meeting provided an important platform for the Committee to review the Institute’s progress, provide strategic oversight and consider key matters relating to MEFMI’s governance, financial position, institutional development, and future priorities.

In reviewing progress during the first half of 2026, the Committee noted developments across the Institute’s programmes and institutional operations, as well as progress towards strengthening MEFMI’s institutional capacity and sustainability.

The Committee also considered matters relating to the Institute’s financial and operational performance, member country engagement, resource mobilisation, ICT, and institutional development.

The discussions provided an opportunity for the Committee to assess progress, strengthen oversight and provide direction on priorities as the Institute continues to implement its mandate and prepare for 2027.
