MEFMI officially launched its Debt Statistical Dashboard on 12 October 2026 during the MEFMI Combined Forum in Bangkok, Thailand. Developed under the Sovereign Debt Management Programme, the Dashboard brings public debt statistics from MEFMI member countries into one accessible platform.
Users can explore debt stocks, debt service, debt composition and key ratios, view country publications and compare up to five countries.
This video introduces the Dashboard and captures its official launch by MEFMI Executive Director Dr Louis Kasekende.
The launch segment was led by Jacob Mkandawire, Director of the Sovereign Debt Management Programme, with partner remarks from the African Development Bank.
The Dashboard was developed with financial support from the African Development Bank and the Government of Japan through the Policy and Human Resources Development Grant.
