MEFMI Region Central Bank Governors’ Forum Held in Basel

MEFMI re-introduced the MEFMI Region Central Bank Governors’ Forum this year, back to back with the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) annual meeting held in Basel, Switzerland. The event was attended by ten (10) central bank governors and deputy governors.  The event which extensively discussed current and emerging risks and opportunities in the establishment and management of Sovereign Wealth Funds, (SWF) was officially opened by the Governor of the Bank of Lesotho Dr Adelaide Matlanyane.
