Rumbidzayi Gadhula
Information Technology Manager
Ms Rumbidzayi Gadhula joined MEFMI in February 2015 as Information Technology Manager. She has over 20 years’ experience as an ICT professional. Her experience covers ICT strategy and governance, service operations and security, project management, business continuity management, ICT infrastructure and information management She is very keen on leveraging ICTs for business outcomes and is interested in ICT research.
Prior to joining MEFMI, Ms Gadhula worked in various sectors that include academic institutions, banking institutions and non-profit organisations where she developed ICT strategy and policies, managed ICT projects, oversaw the transition of ICT projects into operations. She has worked as a United Nations Volunteer under the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), as a volunteer trainer in systems and network administration for the Africa Network Operators’ Group (AFNOG), and as committee member for the Internet Society (ISOC) Zimbabwe Chapter.
Ms Gadhula holds an MBA, an MSc in Information Systems Management, and a BSc Honours in Computer Science from Midlands State University. She also is a member of ISACA and is a certified CGEIT, CISM, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner and ITIL Expert in service management.
