Background
Employers need to have knowledge and tools to promote a healthy work environment and effectively manage stress among employees. The importance of employee well-being, strategies to enhance physical and mental health, techniques to manage stress, and the role of leadership in fostering a supportive workplace culture cannot be over-emphasized.
Course Objectives
This course is intended to aid participants to:
- Understand the concept and significance of employee wellness in the workplace;
- Identify common stressors and their impact on employee well-being and performance;
- Develop strategies to promote physical health and well-being among employees;
- Implement techniques for managing stress and enhancing resilience;
- Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that prioritizes employee wellness;
- Design and implement employee wellness programs and initiatives;
- Provide effective support and resources for employees’ mental health; and
- Develop skills in stress management and self-care.
